Enclosed Within

Closed inside their own little worlds, creating fantasy.
Although they are together, they somehow feel apart.
Unsure of their own meaning, symbolism or even simple existence
They stand on their legs with their many heads held up high.
Without hesitation, they exist in the world we call our own reality.
Speaking to us in a foreign and quite literally unheard language, gasping and staring at you with their bright, ridiculed colours, confusing some of our minds and fascinating others.
Being their own entity, becoming a figure of mystery, holding many of their owner's secrets, thoughts and feelings, they are what they are and yet they are everything and nothing.

A flesh
A body
An intimate connection
And an open expression
An object of desire with a sense of repulsion
An organic matter standing on its wooden legs, holding itself up, powerfully existing on its own.
